Baji Live KYC & AML Policy

Baji Live applies Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter‑Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) controls for users in Bangladesh to meet regulatory requirements and protect the platform. These practices verify identity, safeguard funds, and identify suspicious activity through risk-based security measures. The objectives are user safety, fair play, and transparency, together with meeting reporting obligations to competent authorities.

Purpose of KYC & AML

Baji Live implements KYC/AML to verify identity, prevent fraud, and counter financial crime in Bangladesh. These measures protect users and the platform while supporting responsible gaming and account protection.

  • Fair play
  • User safety
  • Transparency
  • Regulatory compliance

KYC Requirements

Every new account holder must complete ID verification before full access is provided. KYC includes identity check and document submission to confirm identity, address, and ownership of payment instruments.

  • Government‑issued photo identification
  • Proof of address
  • Confirmation of payment‑method ownership

Documents must be valid, legible, and consistent with registration details.

AML Measures

Baji Live maintains AML/CTF controls to prevent money laundering, terrorism financing, and other illegal activity. These security measures are risk-based and proportionate to the services provided in Bangladesh.

  • Transaction monitoring and activity reviews across deposits, withdrawals, betting, and bonus use
  • Automated detection rules and thresholds to flag unusual or high‑risk patterns
  • Enhanced due diligence for high‑risk users or events, including source‑of‑funds/source‑of‑wealth checks
  • Reviews of large or unusual transfers and rapid value movements
  • Risk scoring at onboarding and periodic reassessment of accounts
  • Sanctions and PEP screening against relevant lists (including UN sanctions and applicable national designations)
  • Reporting to authorities when required by law, including timely filing of suspicious transaction/activity reports and applicable cash transaction reports to the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) or other competent authorities

Prohibited Activities

Restrictions apply to support KYC and AML controls and to maintain a safe environment for all users.

  • Creating or using multiple accounts
  • Using forged, altered, or stolen documents
  • Any attempt to launder proceeds of crime or to finance terrorism
  • Manipulating systems, products, odds, or promotions
  • Sharing, selling, or otherwise transferring account access
  • Using third‑party or unauthorised payment instruments
  • Misrepresenting identity or impersonating another person

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Violations of this policy or detection of suspicious activity may lead to enforcement actions under applicable laws and the platform’s terms.

Temporary or permanent account suspension, freezing or confiscation of funds linked to suspicious activity, cancellation of bets or winnings, reporting to competent authorities where applicable.

User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate and up‑to‑date personal data and complete ID verification when requested. Additional document submission may be required at any time to validate information, support ongoing transaction monitoring, or meet reporting obligations. Only payment methods owned and controlled by the account holder may be used. Users must respond promptly to information requests, maintain account protection through strong credentials, and report any suspicious activity to customer support. Responsible gaming practices are encouraged to protect users and the wider community.
